Glossary
Campaign — A unit of work for a client over a period of time; holds deliverables, statistics, KPIs and reports.
Client — The brand a campaign is run for.
Collaboration — The flow by which a publisher authorises InsightsRN to read their social accounts.
Company — The tenant. Nearly all data belongs to one company, and users only see their own.
Crawl — The scheduled background job that fetches a deliverable’s metrics from a platform’s API. Every number in the product is as of the last successful crawl.
Deliverable — One piece of published content: one platform, one publisher, one campaign. The core object of the platform.
KPI — A campaign-level target that aggregated statistics are measured against.
Plan limit — What your subscription allows: campaigns, and deliverables per platform group.
Platform group — The unit plan limits are counted in: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok.
Publisher — A content creator (KOL, influencer, partner channel) whose content is tracked.
Public report link — A shareable read-only campaign report that needs no InsightsRN account.
Token — A platform credential authorising InsightsRN to read a publisher’s account. Tokens expire and can be revoked; when they lapse, crawling stops.
